The Wall Design module affords not only complete accuracy but almost total automation, when used with the DIWall Construction Wizard. This tool automatically positions timbers (and the connection details between them), boards and panels following preset, user created definitions. With the Wall Wizard Editor you set up your own parametric construction guidelines, define wall build-ups, corner and 'T' connections, lintel constructions, etc. The wall construction then simply adapts to these definitions. And if you need to alter some elements after the automatic construction, this too can be very simply achieved. Cutting lists and schedules are created with a couple of clicks. |

This works in a broadly similar way to the Wall Design. Ceiling areas can be created and edited quickly and easily - and openings for stair wells can be introduced very simply. Joist, binders, trimmers etc. can then be added and these can react automatically with one another. For example noggins can be 'instructed' to be positioned in between joists and to have any of a number of end connections. Once again, cutting lists and material schedules are created with a couple of clicks. |
